STEP 2: Install Whatsapp in your new mobile and verify it. Then you can easily restore from the Google Drive as usual. (You need to sync the same Google account to your new phone).

Some people said that you need rooted access to use this feature. But it works for me, without any root access. You can try it yourself.
STEP 1: You need to install the latest version of iTunes in your computer to transfer the WhatsApp data. You must run the latest version of the iTunes on your computer.
STEP 2: Backup your chats in Whatsapp by going through Settings >> Chats >> Chat Backup >> Backup
STEP 3: You have to turn on the “USB Debugging” option in Android to transfer the chats. Just go to Settings >> Developer Options >> Enable USB Debugging.
STEP 4: Install “Android WhatsApp to iPhone Transfer” software in your computer with the Android phone connected to the computer.
